Dr. Roy is a native of California. He came to this area for his love of the beautiful Florida coastline and his love of fishing and the outdoors. Dr. Nakaiye has an undergraduate degree from Cal. Poly. Pomona in California and he received his D.D.S degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 1980. Dr. Roy has many years of dental experience in the Los Angeles and Crestview area. He has a heavy background in cosmetic dentistry and implants.

Joy got her start in dentistry in 2000. She has been a member of our team since August 2005. She has a B.A. degree in Business with a minor in Marketing and Accounting. She loves living in the South and enjoys her cats.

Kelly is an EFDA Certified Dental Assistant and has been a part of our team since May 2010. Kelly is a native of Crestview who has recently married and moved to Andalusia, Alabama. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, watching Tennessee football, and hanging out with her dogs Molly and Cooper.

Veronica got started in dentistry while she and her husband were stationed in Panama through the Red Cross program. She adds over two decades of dental experience to our team. She started with our practice in July 2003. Veronica was born in England and moved to the states in 1984. She and her husband have two grown children, whom they are extremely proud of. She enjoys being with family, friends, reading, and watching movies.

Patty has been with Cedar Pearl since 2012. She brings 23 years of experience in the dental field to this practice. Several of those years were spent working in pediatrics, geriatrics, public health and community service. In addition to these areas, she served in a dental mission trip overseas. Patty has a BA in Accounting and an AS in Dental Hygiene. In 2014 she completed certification to administer local anesthesia. She resides in Navarre with her husband and two dogs, where she enjoys helping him work on monster trucks.

Tricia has been with the practice since June 2006. She began with us as a certified dental assistant. She is currently a registered dental hygienist, with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene and certification to deliver local anesthesia. Tricia lives in Crestview and enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband.

Tonya has been in the dental field since 2006. She has been with us since 2015, coming from Michigan to enjoy the warmer weather of sunny Florida. She can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family during her free time. She enjoys language, traveling, reading, backpacking, and sewing.

Josh has been working in the dental field for close to 8 years. He has worked as a dental assistant, front desk receptionist, assistant office manager, manager, electrician, plumber, counselor, IT guy, punching bag and just about everything else the girls at the office don't want to do. He has lived in Crestview for five years, NC before that. He has traveled to six different countries on three continents and plans to travel more. He likes to spend his free time with his friends and family.

Kathy is our insurance specialist. She is one of the friendly faces that you will see at our front desk. Kathy started in the dental field in 2002. She brings 14 years of experience to our office. Kathy joined our team in 2015. She enjoys fighting insurance for our patients. Kathy has lived in Crestview for 23 years.

Michelle is our Billing and insurance coordinator and joined our team in August of 2016. Michelle is one of the friendly faces and voices of our practice and brings 15 years of dental experience to our office. Michelle is an Air Force brat, married to a retired Army soldier. She has two active teenagers who keep her very busy. Michelle loves helping people and in her spare time can be found enjoying our beautiful beaches.
